This series is named for his Blue Period, which lasted from 1900-1904 and consisted of a collection of essentially monochromatic paintings. This combination is a mix of bright light blue and deep bold cobalt.

These Impressionist painters, whose thick and expressive painting style Kathleen has tried to mimic in the mixing of up to 9 layers of colored glass chips called Frit, inspire many combinations.
